Old capital

This is again Cartago, the old capital city of CR, just 25 kms east of San José. Here is the old road to the atlantic ocean and to the Irazu Volcano. This is an important church for pilgrims that adore Los Angeles Virgin, a local virgin that appeared in 1650.

Poas Volcano

The Volcano is near the city, not exactly in the city but you can see it from San José. This is a non cloudy moment, not so common in this part of the year. The crater is 2500 meters above sea level.
